Project Fire Buddies partners with fire departments to offer support for critically ill children and their families, bringing comfort, fun, and companionship.
Gifts
We want to provide as much assistance as possible. Providing gifts, once in a lifetime experiences, or needed medical devices are great ways to bring hope for our families.

After our initial visit, we don’t stop there. We continue to build those bonds through multiple visits.

Local chapters
How Project Fire Buddies Works
We follow a simple, compassionate process to make sure every child, with a critical illness, receives the support that they need.
Refer a child
Parents or Guardians are invited to fill out quick application for their child to become a Fire Buddy. Forms are HIPAA protected.
Medical Team Review
Our medical team will review the child’s case and diagnosis. Once a determination is made, they will receive notification.
Local Chapter Engagement
If a child is approved to become a Fire Buddy, they will be introduced to their local chapter. From there, their tailored experience begins.
